A cartoning system designed from the approved pack

A pouch cartoning machine must control flexible products that can bend, overlap or change shape during transfer. The infeed and collating concept is therefore developed around the actual pouch material, seal edges, fill distribution, pack dimensions and number of products required in each carton.

Sachet cartoning machine and food cartoner applications can include individual sachets, collated pouches, wrapped bars, confectionery, flow-wrap packs and presentation cartons. Horizontal end-load cartoning is suitable for many regular collated groups, while top-load cartoning may be considered for presentation packs or products that benefit from vertical placement.

The food cartoning machine can interface with flow wrappers, counting systems, weigh-checking, coding and downstream case packing. Soap cartoning machine projects use similar principles when wrapped bars or soap pouches need controlled orientation and carton loading.
